Wild Birds Unlimited (WBU) Timonium offers two services at no or minimal cost!
Recycle your bird seed bags by returning your Wild Birds Unlimited bags to the Timonium location. They accept only WBU seed bags and are not set up for taking any other plastic waste. THIS SERVICE IS PUT ON TEMPORARY HOLD. The initiative has been so successful that the recycling company cannot keep up with demand.
These bags will be chopped up, melted down, and made into recycled plastic benches and tables that can be bought or donated to local parks, libraries, etc.

Bring your bird feeders and we’ll clean them for you!
Before you enter the store you will see this welcome greeting on a blackboard announcement. The staff will clean your feeders for a small fee of $10 per feeder or 3 for $25. If you prefer the challenge of keeping your feeders clean, we suggest that you follow the steps in this video.
